American Red Cross Mahoning Chapter Accepting Hero Nominations

Join the American Red Cross Mahoning Chapter at our 7th Annual Heroes of the Mahoning Valley on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Antone's Banquet Centre in Boardman.
The Heroes of the Mahoning Valley breakfast honors local heroes who have performed an extraordinary act of courage, donated countless hours to the betterment of our community, or have shown an unusual kindness and unselfish character through their actions.
THE CHAPTER IS ASKING YOU TO SUBMIT YOUR HERO NOMINATION TODAY!
The Hero Nomination Categories are as follows:

 

Firefighter   

Law Enforcement   

Medical   

Good Neighbor (21 and over)   

 Youth Samaritan

 Animal (either human caregiver or animal hero)    

  Workplace Safety   

  Educator

 Community Impact (involvement in a project that impacts the community)

 

The heroic act must have been performed between 9/1/2008 and 9/1/2009 and taken place in the Manoning Chapter's jurisdiction: Mahoning County, Girard, Hubbard and Liberty in Trumbull County.

Nominations must be turned into the chapter no later than Thursday, November 19, 2009 and submitted on our forms.  Nominees must follow our rules and guidelines to qualify and must attend the breakfast to accept the award.
